The Magic Johnson Ts brand of printed shirts reached the pinnacle of popularity in the 90s. The all-over prints (belt prints) flew off the shelves in retail stores. The best was yet to come as the company developed the ultimate in printed shirts. In discharge and gel printing, the dye is pulled out of a dark shirt and replaced with the colors desired resulting in a sharper softer image. The gel is then applied to the shirt to give the image longevity. The four images on the front and back of this superbly printed shirt show Michael Jordan preparing to release his patented jump shot. Notice the cut-and-sew construction of the shirt. There are no irregularities as seen on the belt prints.
