Magic Johnson 1986 Merchante #163 Trading Card PSA 5 Spanish NBA logo man. Magic Johnson Docuseries will be released next Christmas. TOTAL POPULATION 27, ONLY 10 Graded Higher. The card looks undergraded in my oppinion.

Sharp corners, great print, a bit miscut but displays awesome. These card was released only in Spain in 1985 for the album Baloncesto 1986.

The album focus was the Spanish basketball league but the last pages of the album had all the most promising stars of the international basketball scene including NBA. MERCHANTE PSA 8 = PSA 10.

My experience and the history of this Merchante set with PSA shows that 8 is in most cases the maximum grade these Merchante cards can achieve. The ony PSA 9 were given long time ago when PSA standards were different. The bigest issue for having higher grades is centering, poor printing quality and corners as the cardboard was super easy to bend and get rounded.
