RARE Vintage 1983 Pulsar Wizard Y951-5009 World Time Men's Digital Analog Watch

Fully inspected and cleaned, fully functional. From Pulsar: Pulsar Quartz introduces The Wizard. The world's first and only quartz watch with data displays right on the crystal. At a touch day, date and time appear, at home and in 26 zones around the world, plus alarm and professional chronograph. This is a rare type of digital analog watch.

The LCD in this watch is right behind the crystal and ABOVE the analog hands, not behind them. The watch was manufactured in August of 1983, per the serial number. It is fully functional and keeping good time with a new battery installed.

T he crystal, case, bezel and bracelet have some scuffs, scratches and dings. The watch will fit up to approximately a 7.25" wrist and has a 0.75" adjustable clasp and no removable links. The bracelet is not original to the watch, but was selected by myself because it is a very close approximation of the original. It has been fitted with a genuine vintage signed Pulsar clasp (the correct clasp for this watch). Please look closely at all of the pictures as they serve as the item condition description.

The module was inspected for damage (none found). The buttons and crown were removed, cleaned and their o-rings lubricated. A new case back gasket was installed. The case and bracelet were cleaned.

A new Energizer battery was installed. No water resistance should be assumed due to age. Display stands, decor, mannequin hands and measuring devices are for photographic purposes only and are not included in this sale.
